![]() They limit the amount of stacks you can get on an item to set that difficulty curve, so you wont ever walk out of a dungeon with 69 busts, 122 crests, 46 portraits, and 100k gold to upgrade your town with. ![]() You wont be able to take all that stuff with you, You simply wont be able to carry it all! You can still walk off with 10k gold but not everything. If you were to go on a long backpacking trip, you have to bring enough food with you, but if you find a bunch of portraits, crests, scripts, and gold. You have to manage what you want to bring in, and start using your provisions to make more room i.e. All of the Torches (athough this tileset is set on 100 light at all times, the torch gives you an accuracy bonus of +4. All of the food (plus always pick up any additional food you find, you will need it). Yea this is all about making the game difficult and more realistic. An quick guide to help you choose the right equipment for each dungeon type, and what party members to take. Learn to manage it and choose wht is valuable. 8-12 torches, 12-16 food for long dungeon, 5-6 slots only. with a chance of the loot getting stolen maybe. It just feels even more grindy.Īt least if we could put stuff on the ground in little bags and come grab them later when we don't have any firewood/food/torches. I hate having to throw stuff away just because I absolutely need the heirlooms, I need the money too, and it's completely useless to have longer dungeons if I can't keep more loot. Only 3 paintings per slot ? 1500 gold ? Come on these limitations make no sense at all. Maybe the problem is not the inventory size, but the ridiculously small amount of items you can stack in one slot. Sell trinkets if you have any you don't expect to use, and if you *really* can't afford any supplies at all then bring your most expendable characters (presumably level 0s) on a short dungeon and just try to win without any supplies - if you have to you can even abandon the quest before finishing it to just get some loot to afford supplies for a better run.Originally posted by Texelion:Yeah the inventory is clearly too small and not made for medium/long dungeons, when you have two firewoods and enough food/torches to last the whole dungeon. The core of this mods buy habits are based on Dark Companion's buy suggestions. I recommend getting the roster size upgrades pretty quickly on that note - by the time your roster size is maxed out you shouldn't really need to use the tavern/abbey at all in my experience (heck, I even kept some characters with quirks that prevented them from going anywhere for stress relief and got them to level 6).īeyond that, it's mostly the same as has been mentioned already. Description Compatible with: Inventory expansion (Set Provision Buy Chart priority over it: This mod allows you to go into every provision being prepared. ![]() I use it all the time because my memory sucks. Characters will reduce in stress on their own over time even if slowly - you don't need to spend money on it, and you can just send your other characters on dungeons while their stress goes down (you should be raising a large roster regardless for numerous reasons). It doesn't do presets (I've never seen a mod that does), but instead it adds info to the provision tooltips to show how many of each item you should take for each area, and for how large the dungeon is. First off, I don't recommend using the abbey/tavern for reducing stress almost ever unless you're just impatient and don't mind wasting money (this should not be the case if you're asking this question of course) or the character is afflicted.
